Contact Lens Institute names Visionaries 2025

The Contact Lens Institute has named 18 established and emerging leaders in the eyecare community as 2025 Visionaries. The diverse group represents a range of practice settings, research interests and specializations from across the United States and Canada, according to the announcement. The honorees were selected based on their dedication to increasing awareness and promoting the advantages of soft contact lenses for both patients and practices. These individuals were also chosen for their ability to motivate and engage with their peers.

The honorees will be involved in initiatives that encourage best practices by providing tools, new data, and clinical and practice management insights through the Contact Lens Institute’s The EASY Way and See Tomorrow initiatives, the announcement said.

Eight Visionaries return to the program after previous service, while another 10 have been newly appointed.

2025 honorees include: Roxanne Achong-Coan, Shelby Brogdon, Andrew Bruce, Jennifer M. Seymour Brusven, Jason E. Compton, Ryan Corte, Melanie Frogozo, Susan J. Gromacki, Lisa Hornick, Jennifer Liao, Scott Moscow, Shalu Pal, Nishan Pressley, Adam Ramsey, Harbir Sian, Jennifer Stewart, Shauna Thornhill, Christopher Wolfe.

“Through extensive peer-to-peer sharing, our Visionaries play an important role in advancing the role of soft contact lenses in eyecare practices in the U.S. and Canada,” said Stan Rogaski, CLI’s executive director. “This diverse group of optometrists and opticians have demonstrated a mastery of clinical skills to give patients optimal contact lens experiences, as well as a passion to share their knowledge and enthusiasm across the eyecare world.”
