The Eye Consortium adds Bausch + Lomb as partner
The Eye Consortium (TEC), an alliance group for independent practices, has formed a new Elite Vendor partnership with Bausch + Lomb to help advance TEC’s ongoing commitment to deliver programs and resources that help the alliance’s member doctors elevate both the patient experience and practice profitability. “In response to the overwhelming interest from our membership, we welcome Bausch + Lomb to the TEC family of Elite Vendor Partners,” said Matthew Alpert, OD, TEC co-president.
Dr. Alpert stated, “Their commitment to innovation and support of independent practices make them an ideal partner. This collaboration will enhance member access to Bausch + Lomb’s advanced contact lens technologies, delivering exceptional value to our members.”
Under the partnership, all TEC members will have access to the full range of Bausch + Lomb contact lens technologies including the Bausch + Lomb INFUSE, Bausch + Lomb ULTRA and Biotrue ONEday contact lens families. Bausch + Lomb will also provide TEC members with marketing materials, pricing discounts and rebates.
“TEC was founded to empower independent eyecare professionals with meaningful partnerships and unmatched value,” said Robert Chu, OD, TEC co-president. “Partnering with Bausch + Lomb strengthens our ability to support independent practices with flexible, high-impact products—all without membership fees or long-term contracts.”
“TEC’s value proposition speaks for itself. To join TEC, there are no membership fees and no long-term contracts,” Dr. Alpert said. “We want to be the alliance group doctors are excited to join because they will receive the most value while supporting independent suppliers. That’s why we formed TEC, to help us all succeed together.”
